The following is a collection of statements taken from books, speeches, reports and interviews with direct quotations and references by or about Elijah Muhammad (1897-1975), a man who professed to be a prophet of God and led a successful black organisation known as the Nation of Islam.
I have added a few comments to clarify some points, but have left his voice to be the chief instrument and leave the reader to judge for him/herself about the sincerity and credibility of the black leader.
Elijah Muhammad in brief announced prophethood in 1931 and said he was the last and greatest of prophets in Islam. While he stated he was a Muslim, he had grave doctrinal differences with Muslims in general. He died in 1975.
After I teach you the truth, it is immaterial to me whether or not you believe and follow me.

I am not begging you now because it is immaterial to me. I can get a whole Nation besides you. I can! He (God) has offered that to me. He said, “If not One goes with you or believes you, Muhammad, come on and bring Me the Keys, and you and I will go.”

I have “No Right” to worry about the doings of the people after knowledge.

I do not beg anyone to believe, because it is not allowed by Allah for a “messenger” to beg people to believe in Allah and His word of truth, neither to take him for an angel or for a Prophet. This is absolutely immaterial on a Prophet’s part.

The Arch-deceiver (i.e. whites) is capable of deceiving the whole world except god's last messenger (Lamb)

We are in a World that is falling. It will soon be going up in flames. In Berlin, Germany, the Cold War between the East and West will soon erupt into a Hot War. It will Never be Settled in Peace. East and West Germany “Must and Will Fight it out” with all the deadly weapons that the War-Scientists have planned and perfected for the final showdown.

NB. East Germany has since “dissolved” (as did the Cold War) and merged with the West, and it did so peacefully.
If no one has gone to heaven or seen the face of God, then all these prophets, are liars.

ADAM and Eve are the Parents of the White race (Yakub is the Real Name) and they “REFUSED the Religion of Islam”, because of the Nature in which they were made. (Chapter 11, 1st paragraph, page 47, The Fall of America 1973)
Injustice, crooked politics, and the breeding of corruption under crooked politics. Have been practised ever since Adam (A.S) to the present day rulers. ADAM WAS THE FIRST CROOK. (Chapter 8, final paragraph, page 36, The Fall of America 1973)

Allah is sufficient for our needs. This is why I do not have “to beg” from our oppressors or march on their Capitol with my hat in my hand. For how can I on one hand preach the doom of the oppressive system and then with the other hand ask alms of the oppressor.

“We used to not believe that man could go to the moon. But if he goes to the moon, that shows you he is a god and not the moon and the flying apparatus that he made and went up there on.
No-one came down from the moon and taught him how to get up there. He was god enough in himself to fix up a machine that would take him to the
moon.
It was not an invisible god that taught him how to measure the distance. It was a visible God that taught him Mathematics.
You may ask me, "Why did we not know all of this?" Because “You” [Note he does not say “I”] were under an enemy of yours who wanted to make you ignorant so he could make you and me. That is why you are in such condition that you are in now; because he actually made you like this”. (Chapter 10, 4th-5th paragraph, Page 28, Our Saviour has Arrived 1974)
“I only want to acquaint you with the basic meaning of what you are actually trying to carry into practice, and that is a worship of a dead Malcolm [X] …
Malcolm, goes to Mecca. He makes the pilgrimage, and for the first time Malcolm gets to eat out of the same dish as the devil. This excited Malcolm, lover of the devil.”

Contrast this with his father-in-law, Elijah Muhammad, two years later.

The enemy (meaning Whites) has Tampered with the truth in both books (i.e. the Qur'an and the Bible): for he has been permitted to handle both books. Neither the Qur'an nor the bible was revealed with the intention of converting the white race into truth and righteousness; for God knew there was no good in them the day they were created. But they are capable of deceiving you in regard to God and the righteous.

The Holy Qur’an is 100% right. Read it, and try to find something in there that is not true. (Chapter 23, 1st full paragraph, Page 102, The Fall of America, 1973)
N.B Either, it has been tampered with and is in some ways incorrect and with contradictions or is pure, completely written and revealed by Allah and without contradictions. You cannot say both, that is illogical and hypocritical.
“Joseph had gotten the child, Jesus, by Mary while he was married to another woman and at that time had 6 children by his 1st marriage”.

“She (Mary) said: ‘Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you (Angel Gabriel), if you do fear Allah.’ (The Angel) said “I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.
She said: “How can I have a son, when No Man has Touched Me, nor am I UNCHASTE?” He said: “So (it will be) your Lord said: “That is easy for me: And to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah) and it is a matter already decreed. (Surah 19, Verses 16-21, Maryam)
“Mary was put in the care of Joseph”.

“Then when she delivered her (the Child Mary), she said: “O my Lord! I have delivered a female child,”-and Allah knew better what she delivered,- “And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge with You (Allah) for her and for her offspring from Satan, the outcast.”
So her Lord (Allah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zakariya.

“The so-called Negroes do not demand anything from you, except that you stop killing them unjustly and give them equal justice under your laws as you do for yourself, and equal wages as you do for your kind and for the same labour. “No, not land for themselves, nor instruments and money to go elsewhere” which you have acquired from their labour, sweat and blood. No real civilised people would be asking for such small pay in return for 400 years of free labour, free blood, life and for the use (misuse) of their women by you at your will- only a foolish people without knowledge of you and their own kind would accept that.

“If you are going to prevent us from going to our own, or back where we came from, where you found us, then give us a place here to ourselves. There has been much talk about separation and about our acting or demanding of territory in America. No, sir, we’re asking America only if they don’t allow us to go back to our own people and to the country from which we came.
Then give us a place to ourselves; as you know and we have learned through experience for 400 years , we can’t get along in peace together. You’re not going to accept us as your equals, and we know you’re not going to do so.” (Why did you ask for justice earlier?)

We believe that our former slave-masters are obligated to maintain and supply our needs in this separate territory for the next 20-25 years until we are able to produce and supply our own needs.”

“You should Never use Tobacco, Whiskey, Beer or Wine. They ruin the reproductive organs and waste away the manpower. Tobacco and Alcoholic beverages also have this destructive effect upon women”.

“They know (Doctors) that Tobacco, hard whiskey and ALCOHOL are ‘Not Good’ for you and will shorten your life and kill you”.

“O You who believe! Intoxicants (All kinds of Alcoholic drinks), gambling, Al-Ansab [the eating of that meat which pagans sacrifice on stone alters] and Al-Azlam [arrows for seeking luck or decision] are an Abomination of Satan’s handiwork . So avoid (Strictly all) that (Abomination) that you may be successful.
Satan wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with Intoxicants (Alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not abstain?

NB. The reason the word ‘Intoxicants’ appears instead of ‘Alcohol’ is to specify that any kind of food or drink that not only has the same or similar effects on the mind and body, but also those things which have Alcohol as an ‘Ingredient’ within it is harmful.
In the case of the former, certain ‘hard drugs’ can be included because of the consequences it entails after consuming or taking them, whilst in the latter could range from any recipe where alcohol is included in small doses to where it plays an essential and big part in the final product.
“You won’t find any newspaper recording the presence of Elijah Muhammad at any kind of cocktail party because HE PREACHES AGAINST THE USE OF LIQUOR IN ANY FORM.”

“Narrated Ibn Umar (RA) the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (SAW) said ‘Allah has Cursed the Liquor, and One who drinks it, and One who serves it, and Those who Buy and Sell it, and One who extracts it, and One who procures it and One who carries it, and One for whom it is carried”

“Remember life is what you make of it. Stay away from hog (the swine), the stinking tobacco weed, the hot fiery Alcohol, Wine, Beer, drugs, foolishness, ignorance, madness, Drunkenness, gambling, murdering, robbery, deceitfulness, lying, mockery, and seeking to take advantage of your brother and sister.”

NB. He makes a distinction between Alcohol in high contents and drunkenness and more importantly prohibits even the mild consumption of Wine and Beer, which are Alcoholic beverages.
“If you stop eating pig, and the food you should not eat, stop eating three and four times a day and stop drinking Whiskey, Beer, and Wine, you would save much in the way of money? In prolonging your life by Abstaining from the pig, Alcoholic drinks and tobacco, you will be adding money to your savings by hundreds and thousands of dollars.”

“To drink Whiskey, Beer, and Wine when they have a high Alcoholic content is against your and my health. These drinks have a tendency to be habit forming. When we become habitual drinkers, we are destroying our lives. If you want to live, you should not drink such beverages.” (How To Eat To Live Part I 1967, ‘The Poisonous Drinks’ 1st Paragraph Page 111)
NB Anything with High Alcoholic content all Muslims would agree is lethal and very dangerous, but logically if this or anything else has a tendency to be habit forming and is something that brings little or no benefit to us, we can live without and is harmful- Why drink it all?
He answers this question immediately “If you want to live, you should not drink such beverages.” But seventy pages later, he says something else-
“I DID NOT SAY that it was really WRONG for you to use ALCOHOL. But it is wrong for you to use it in the way that you use it- getting drunk from Alcohol. If we only know how to use anything with moderation, we would be a long time hurting ourselves”. (How To Eat To Live, Book II 1972, Final paragraph-1st paragraph Pages 181-182)
“We are taught… and All Religions Teach Fasting.. so that includes us too”..

Not so!!! Buddhism and Zoroastrianism, the Ancient Religion of Iran, which has Thousands of Adherents all over the World Prohibits Fasting. This religion is even mentioned in the Qur’an under the term Magians and Magi (‘Magi’ meaning Zoroastrian priests)
“In the case of Orthodox Muslims Worshipping Ramadan by not eating until after sunset, and darkness approaches (they can eat all night long if they want to, until the next morning at dawn)- they call this a fast!
They say that they do this in the month of Ramadan because Ramadan is the month in which the Holy Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad. But, the way that I understand scripture, it teaches that Muhammad received the Holy Qur’an over a period of 23 years. Muhammad did not receive the Holy Qur’an in one night or in one day.
And if he received the Holy Qur’an in the month of Ramadan, Why fast in that month? I cannot understand why we should fast in the month of Ramadan, for the first revelation of the Holy Qur’an was already given in that month without fasting.” (How To Eat to Live, Book II 1972, 5th paragraph - 2nd full paragraph pages 50-51)
“If you can convince me it is necessary to Fast in the month of Ramadan because of Muhammad receiving the Holy Qur’an, or the first revelation of the Holy Qur’an, then I will go along with it. However, since the Qur’an was received over a period of years, I am very much baffled in trying to understand Why we should Fast in the Month of Ramadan.”

“The Month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for Mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance , and the Criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present, let him FAST THAT MONTH.”

“Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A) The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) said: ‘Ramadan, a blissful month, has come to you, during which Allah has made it compulsory for you to fast.”

“Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A) The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: ‘He who fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking reward from Allah, will have his past sins forgiven.”

The Holy Qur’an was given and taught to Elijah for the express purpose of saving his people from the fire of hell. (Chapter 39, final paragraph-1st paragraph Pages 198-199, Our Saviour has Arrived 1974)
(If Moses' rod and book were given were given as a guide for Israel, and the Gospel God gave to Jesus as a guide and warning to the Christians, and the HOLY QUR’AN to MUHAMMAD for the ARAB WORLD, will give us (the so-called Negroes) a book as a guide for us? Will He bring it or send it? For THOSE BOOKS WERE FOR OTHER PEOPLE AND NOT US.)
If we are in the change of the two worlds (Christianity and Islam), then surely we need a "new book" for our guidance; for those books have served the people to whom they were given. But all or both books are guidance for us all. Yet we must have a new book for the "new change"; that which no eye has seen nor ear has heard, nor has entered our hearts what it is like.

“We have to come to the point where we must find justice for ourselves or commit suicide. What good is your life and my life if we have no protection? If I were a Black woman, and my men were such cowards that they would not try and defend me and the children I produced, I would get a shotgun and Kill myself. This is nothing but right.”

NB. So Instead of trying to save his children himself, he would rather leave them to the peril of the attackers by Committing Suicide. Is this is not an Act of Cowardice? And what does he say about cowards?
“If we continue to accept these injustices (i.e. assault, rape, intimidation by whites and racial abuse in general) we are nothing but cowards. If we be cowards, then we ought to go home, Kill our wives and then Commit Suicide”. (The Fall of America 1973, Chapter 1, 1st paragraph, page 6)
NB. It would seem he endorses Killing in specific and exceptional circumstances. It is also strange because his followers are not allowed to carry arms, so how can it be right to kill your wives or yourself if you’re never going to have or use lethal weapons in the first place?
In the first case, ‘I would get a shotgun and Kill myself’, the only way this would be possible is to initially break the rules of ‘carrying arms’ even for defence,
which is what Elijah Muhammad is referring to in these statements and it is exactly this, that is strictly prohibited in the Nation of Islam.
“O You who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. AND DO NOT KILL YOUSELVES (Nor Kill each other) (Holy Qur’an, Surah 4, An-Nisaa, Verse 29)
“It is not for a believer to Kill another believer except by mistake.”

“And whoever Kills a believer intentionally , His Recompense is Hell to live in (forever), and the Wrath and Curse of Allah are upon him, and a Great Punishment is prepared for him.”

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said ‘The Biggest of the Great Sins are
1) To join others in Worship with Allah
2) TO MURDER A HUMAN BEING
3) To be undutiful to one’s parents
4) To make a false statement or said ‘to give a false witness.’
(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 9, Hadith No 10)
“In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, all praise is due to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. The most merciful master of the day of Requital. Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. O God, guide us on the right path; the path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favours, and not of those thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. Amen’
This prayer is found in the first Sura (Chapter) of the Holy Qur’an, and is the opening of every Sura in the Holy Book except the 9th chapter (the chapter of the Hypocrites).”

Not So!! Every Surah of the Qur’an does not begin with that prayer, only one does, that particular Sura itself (The Opening).
In addition, what each Surah does start with is “In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful” except one and that Sura is not titled ‘the Hypocrites’, it is called ‘At-Tauba’ (Repentance).
The ‘Hypocrites’ is Surah 63, Not Surah 9.
“In the battle between God and the disbelievers in the days of Noah, the victor’s weapon was water. He [Allah] used FIRE in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Not So!! Buddhists don’t believe in God. Not even one.
“The Bible’s forbidden tree was a tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This also tells us that the tree was a person for Trees know nothing.”

“And the herbs (or stars) and the Trees both prostrate [to Allah]”

“See you not that to Allah Prostrates Whoever is in the Heavens and Whoever is on the Earth, and the Sun, and the Mountains, and the Trees, and the Animals, and many of mankind.”

Bahira, a Christian priest recognised Muhammad as the Messenger of Allah when he was a boy travelling to Syria with his uncle Abu Talib because he saw a cloud showering upon him and the branches of a Tree bowing down to him. He said to Abu Talib they only do this out of respect and love to the Prophets of Allah and no one else.

NB Can something which knows nothing and has no knowledge prostrate to Allah or the Prophets and recognise who is a Prophet and who isn’t.

NB If Allah was truly Absent Why did He write it before it happened and also say in the Verses He is a Witness when it happens.
The God of the New World is a ‘New God’. He is not the God Who Ruled from the Beginning but He Has the Same Idea of that rule as the God In the Beginning Had to create Something new.

“The Name, Allah, is a Great Name! I’d rather call Him Allah than to call Him God. God is an English name for the Supreme Being, but WE HAVE TOO MANY GODS, and WE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE CREDIT TO ONLY ONE GOD. So we rather use the Name, Allah. I want to give Allah all the credit we can give to Him!
Allah is a Great Name for the Supreme Being. It means Allah everywhere. It colours everything. I like that Name, Allah!”

Almighty God came to make Himself known that He alone is God and besides Him there is no God His equal-I know of none His equal.

This is a day and time that you should know God. There are Two on the scene at the Present Time: An Evil God and a Good God. When we say “Allah,” that Name means God and covers all {Black} Muslims. All {Black} Muslims are Gods, but we call the Supreme Allah the Supreme Being. And He has a Name of His Own. This Name is “Fard Muhammad.”
“Fard” is a Name meaning an independent One and One Who is not on the level with the Average Gods. It is a Name, independent to itself which actually means One whom we must obey, or else He destroys us. This honourable, Majestic, Person comes in the last day.
The reason why we call Him the Supreme Being is because He is Supreme
over all beings and or is than all.
The Holy Qur’an teaches: He is wiser than them, meaning all the Gods before and all who are now present. Now the just and righteous One is on the scene to take His place to rule the people in righteousness.
Remember, Allah means Gods. Many {Black} Muslims go in this name. All {Black} Muslims go in the Divine Supreme Being of Names from Him. The meaning of these Names are Himself. The bible teaches you and me that He would give us His Own Names, and this, we are receiving.

Every 25,000 years, each God Coming After the Other made a new civilisation. His Belief, Teaching, and Theology were Different From the Other God Who Preceded Him Who Made a beautiful change in the History of the wisdom of man.

The Wisdom of each God has a cycle of 25,000 years. Once every 25,000 years, another God would be given the chance to show forth His Wisdom to the people.
This has been going on for trillions of years, according to His teachings to me-at least since the deportation of the moon and the earth, according to the science of why we use the cycle of 25,000 years .
This is compared to the circumference of our earth at the equator, which is approximately 25,000 miles. This is also compared with the rotation of our earth at the change of poles which also makes a complete change once every 25,000 years.

“Fard Muhammad taught me that there ‘are’ [Not were, so this logically includes himself] not any gods who live forever.
Their wisdom and their work may live 6,000 or 25,000 years, but the actual individual may have died within 100-200 years, or the longest that we have a record of, around 1000 years”. [So God is only aware of those rulers whose life and authority spanned 1,000 years or less]

“No God Who is going to rule the people of earth universally, as the white man has ruled for the past 6,000 years, was to be given a History or Knowledge of the God Who ruled the people before Him.
This is in order to keep the present God from patterning after the Former God and to force Him to use His Own Wisdom in making a world and not a world patterning after previous Wisdom of the Gods Before Him”.

None can say how old the black nation is. As far back as, He said (i.e. God) a record has been kept, it dates 76 trillion years. These years were divided into periods of 6 trillion years beyond 66 trillion years which would make the said figure 76 be 78, instead of 76 trillion.

“The present God’s wisdom is infinite. No scientist can see an end to this Man’s wisdom coming in the future. That is why the Qur’an and the bible refer to Him as the greatest and wisest of them all and say that He will set up a Kingdom that will live forever”.

NB. If Fard Muhammad’s wisdom is infinite how can he not know how long Black history extends to and beyond, Why does have to speak about records and if he was here in the beginning wasn’t he the one who wrote them?
In an Interview for the National Educational Television Network conducted by the staff of San Francisco station KQED, Elijah Muhammad from his home in Phoenix, Arizona over several days. The following are excerpts from it, mainly from his responses to questions only.
Q: “Well, now if in time, sir, your grandson, Sharrieff or your son, Wallace or Malcolm, ever expressed the desire to return to follow you again, would you accept them?”
A: “There is nothing “Unforgivable”, the Holy Qur’an teaches you. “The only thing that is “Unforgivable” is this: that you will not Allah as God and His Messenger as His Messenger. These two things are one, we say, the belief in God is the belief in the in the Messenger or Prophet of God”.

For the past 6,000 years there was no god present who was Superior to Yakub. Our God and Scientists were Not Permitted to Interfere with the people of Yakub and their civilisation nor in the way they were thinking.

NB So for say 5, 850 years no living god including Fard Muhammad was better or could successfully challenge a Physically ‘Dead god’.

Not So! In March 1998 Water was found on the Moon, hidden for so long and frozen as Ice. In addition, more water can be made available; ice could be melted to form drinking water, or electrolysed to form hydrogen and oxygen, enabling people to breathe the same air and feel the same freshness we’re so used to here.
You cannot have ice in a ‘dried up’ area, it’s a contradiction in terms. The presence of ice makes a place the opposite of dry. It’s like finding water everywhere in a desert and flourishing vegetation, tropical weather and monsoon climates in places like the Arctic. They are two different extremes and don’t inter-relate at all.
There may be, currently as yet, up to 330 billion tonnes of water. Enough for a sizeable number of people (about 2,000 people) to live there for up to a Century. The presence of water also makes it possible to grow food, plants and possibly some drugs for medical reasons.
As well as finding water, NASA’S probe has provided a map of the moon’s magnetic and gravitational fields making it easier for space vehicles to travel there that will enable the area to be used as an air base for the voyage and exploration of other planets and their individual moons in future missions.
The abundance of Oxygen can also be used to make rocket fuel for the lunar vessels for travel to and fro each expedition, making too much dependence on finite earth resources and future government support and finance less necessary.
As programmes and voyages will cut down on costs and paperwork will decrease more and more journeys across space will occur. The less time consuming it is the more results and scientific evidence will be unearthed.
In addition, on Saviours Day 1973 Elijah made a statement that there are nine planets. Not so again, after his death two more planets were found in the 1990s, one of which was outside the Solar system and a third was discovered in the 21st Century making a total of twelve planets, eleven of which are in the Solar system.
